So, there is a coffin in the beginning of the game that changes your gender, but no coffin that enters the customization box. I have no idea how a modder would do this, or if it's even possible, but from the looks of what this community can do, I'd think it is.
Think of how useful a re-edit could be. Wanna cosplay hardcore? No pesky PvE runs that take forever anymore. You'd just have one character for it all, and it would be so cool to see how messed up I could make my already leveled character could be!
I'm really hoping that a certain hidden command happens when you open the door in Things Betwixt or something like that, because it opens up the character edit after the cutscenes. Maybe this command is somethng someone could find and give us?
Hell, maybe you could try Cheat Editor with this, I still have no idea if it's possible, but I'd love to see other's input on this.
If no modders are up for the challenge..maybe Scholar of the First Sin will give it to us? That's pretty wishful thinking, but we can only hope.
So yeah, to the modders out there..lemme know if there's a way to do this? Maybe with some trick or cheat? Anyway. That's all.

The mod works wonderfully and helps this wonderful nightmare play like they actually wanted it to be on pc rather than a halfassed port. HOWEVER! I've reached a problem where upon switching back to controller (In case of a difficult boss I use controller because I started on 360 and play on pc with a ps3 controller, I guess its just more comfortable) I cannot turn the camera without using the mouse. Which in turn means I can't really use the controller anymore. Any help?

So like many of you I'm sure, I just got the new DS4 and was excited to play DS with it. But I ran into a snag, while the new DS4 works with PC's natively, it does so with the wrong input method. The xbox (which DS is setup for taking controller inputs from) uses Xinput, so in order to get this to work we have to convert it. Luckly there is an easy program to do this. So how to do this? Here you go.

This is an older version of x360ce which is a xinput wrapper used commonly for gamepads (i.e. Logitech Rumblepad 2). The newest version I found didn't work for some reason however this older version does. (Credit to this thread for finding it)
How to install:
- Copy both files from the 7zip into your DS folder where your executable lies.
(Typically C:Program Files (x86)SteamSteamAppscommonDark Souls Prepare to Die EditionDATA) - Run 'x360ce.exe' as an administrator (didn't work when I ran normally)
- Steam mods for oblivion. Let it search the internet for configuration files
- Select the preset 'Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2' and click 'Load' American dog breeders association pedigree.
- Click 'Save' and close the window.I have model #10. The freezer was not as cold as it should be and when exposed the freezer coils, they were totally frozen. Model #10656826603 kenmore coldspot side-by-side refrigerator defrost timer location. I defrosted manually and have tried to find the defrost timer (which I think you just turn the refrigerator control to off) and wait for the defroster to come on.
And you're done. Just run Dark Souls as normal, works with DSfix and all the others in its vein (MPfix ect.).
Also note for whatever reason no button can be mapped to guide while doing this (ps button is '13' but it won't let you save this as guide). Not that anything is lost by not connecting to GFWL.

Dark Souls Input Customizer 1
- 'It's mostly older titles, yeah, but there were a few more recent ones, and Dark Souls definitely does work: It has ZDPP, but not SSA (I have NO IDEA why that page keeps getting updated to show that it has SSA, because it definitely doesn't; the Wikipedia page is the same way). The nice thing about ZDPP is that once the files are decrypted, you can back them up like save data and just overwrite the encrypted versions that are put there after a fresh installation, and everything starts exactly how it should. I've tested this myself, and I was able to get the game running from a brand-new installation completely offline.
EDIT: I don't have much going on today, so I tried my retail copy of the GFWL version of Dark Souls, and it worked perfectly. Complete offline installation on a machine that had never had anything related to GFWL installed on it before, and I was playing in about 20 minutes. I even got an old save file to load!'
